Master Gardener Programs for 2023

Take advantage of the wonderful programs and workshops that the Chesapeake Master Gardeners will provide this year. The workshops are open to the public and listed in the two workshop schedules below. Learn how to harvest rain water and cut down on your water bill while helping our planet or make a bluebird house to attract song birds to your yard.

Our new 2023 training class has started and will run through graduation on March 28. Winter is the time to plan for next growing season while keeping an eye out for potential winter damage.  Look at seed catalogs and pick out some new vegetables to try this year. Mulch around your perennials and the roots of trees and shrubs to protect them against the frost.  Keep the seed heads of flowers on until Spring to feed the birds and other wildlife.  Make plans for landscaping and gardening this year and save the date for our Annual Spring Plant Sale on April 28 & 29. More information to come.

New Workshops for Winter & Spring 2023
