Chesapeake Master Gardener Teaching Garden
Develop, maintain and expand an inviting attractive open-air series of gardens that focus on educating people from all communities about how to use Master Gardener standards, about our local plants, their care, beauty, importance and usefulness to us and the world we all live in.
There are 16 gardens in the Teaching Garden and each of them is maintained by our Master Gardener Volunteers. They are: Bird & Butterfly, Canopy, Carnivorous, Crevice, Dry Shade, Elaine's Garden, Four Seasons, Green Roof, Herb, Monocot, Sensory, Shade, Turf, Weed, Wetland and Woodland.
